Bataka Vada

Bataka Vada/Pakora – good anytime, perfect quick snack especially in rainy season. Feels like you are in heaven. It can also be served as Pav Vada – Sandwich it between breads and enjoy it with Tamarind Chutney and spicy garlic chutney. Enjoy 🙂

Ingredients for filling:

  • 2-3 Boiled Potatoes
  • 1/4 tblsp crushed black pepper
  • 1/2 tblsp ginger chilly paste
  • pinch of garam masala
  • 1/2 tblsp lemon juice
  • Cut coriander
  • Sugar as per taste
  • Salt as per taste

Ingredients flour mix:

  • Besan Atta
  • Salt as per taste
  • Water

Directions:

  • Mash the potatoes evenly and add all the above ingredients. Salt, sugar, ginger chilly paste, crushed black pepper, coriander, pinch of garam masala and squeeze in some lemon juice. Roll it into small balls.
  • For Flour mix, add Besan Atta, Salt and some water. Mix everything well.
