Masala Bhindi

Quick and Easy recipe for a weeknight dinner. Try this recipe. This was my first time trying it and it turned out delicious. Serve it Hot. Enjoy 🙂


  • 1 sliced onions
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 green chillies
  • 2 ounces fresh okra
  • 1 tblsp spoon
  • 1/2 tblsp asafoetida
  • 1 tblsp red chilly powder
  • 1 tblsp coriander powder


Add 4 tblsp of cooking oil to pan on medium heat. Add cumin seeds, asafoetida powder, sliced onions and salt. Let it cook for 5-7 minutes and add garlic and cut green chilly. Add cut bhindis to the pan. When added to the pan stir it slowly every few mins since bhindis are sticky. Let it cook for 20 minutes. Add coriander powder and red chilly powder and cook for another 5 minutes. Garnish it with coriander. Ready to serve.
