Paneer Kati Roll

When I was in NY last year for a reunion, My friends insisted me to try NY special Kati roll It was so delicious & mouth watering. After heading back to CA, I decided to make it for my sister and brother-in-law. It was not as good as I ate in NY but they liked it a lot! Enjoy

Preparation Time: 45 minutes
  • 1 cup cut Paneer
  • 1/2 Crown Brocolli
  • 1 Sliced Onion
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 Carrot
  • 3 garlic chopped (depends on your taste)
  • 1/2 cup cilantro chopped.
  • 2 green chilies (If you don’t want to make it spicy you can use only 1)
  • 3 tsp of Corn/Vegetable Oil.
  • 2 tsp Garam masala (I prefer Kitchen King MDH)
  • ½ tsp red chili powder
  • ½ tsp coriander powder
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp Jeera
  • ¼ tsp pinch of asafetida.
  • ½ tsp of crushed pepper (optional)

In a skillet add 3 tsp of oil. Let it heat and then add Jeera, garlic, onion and green chili. Heat until it turns brownish in color; in order to expedite you can add pinch of salt as that makes it brown faster.

Add the carrots, bell peppers, cilantro and brocolli. Also add chili powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder.

Let it stir for 4-5 minutes and then add 2 teaspoonfuls of garam masala and salt as per your taste.

This will be your filler for the wraps.

You can make home made wraps using All purpose flour and add some wheat flour to it .

If in Hurry you can also use Tortillas found in any grocery stores. Add some cheese while wrapping it if you are not too concerned about the calories 🙂
